jamba juice and meatloaf

So today was a long day made it to the grocery store at 4:00p.m.~~bad idea. Why is it that everyone decides to be at H.E.B in the afternoon????While there, I was craving a Jamba Juice drink. I usually don't~ but look what I found lovelies~~~

Yes Jamba Juice mix all flavors all you add is apple juice. Loaded a cart full of these so we can make them as a breakfast or easy meal YUM~~~

Since I was sooo tired sweet A had a great idea he was going to make steaks and I could just save my meatloaf recipe for Sunday's dinner. Brilliant since I can hardly stay awake even now.

Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large egg
2/3 cup milk
3 Tablespoons catsup
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix the onion soup mix, ground beef, egg and milk together.
3. Form the combination into a well packed loaf shape in a 13 X 9 X 2 loaf pan.
4. Combine the rest of the ingredients and spoon onto the top of the meatloaf.
5. Bake uncovered, for about an hour. When done, take the meatloaf out of the pan and place on a serving plate. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
This is a meatloaf recipe you'll use again and again, enjoy!

taupe, oranges and lemon bars....

So today my sweet mom took care of the babes for two hours so that I can get my nails done. The color I choose was OPI's Over the Taupe. I love this color and I love the salon that I found recently. This place is clean, cheap and the staff is super sweet. It is Spectrum Nails Salon on Hwy 6 in Missouri City. I know I had already mentioned them before but they are so nice there.

My mom and dad recently came back from a short trip to the Rio Grande Valley (where we're from). She brought tons of HUGE oranges. When I mean HUGE I mean HUGE and super SWEET.

You might not see it from this picture but believe me they are BIG!!!

I did stop at Target this afternoon and picked up a few things. This box of Lemon Bars looked so yummy so I had the babes help me make them.

Here is sweet David helping mama.

I will let you know how they turned out. I really want my best friend's lemon bars but she's been very BUSY lately.... the girl just had her third baby girl I totally understand;)))

Favorite blogs and Disneyland

I had recently heard about a blog called Pioneer Woman.
If you have not checked out her blog you sooo need to. She is the most creative, sassy, and smart blogger out there. She is a mother of four, a writer, a cook, a home school mom and so on.....

Her name is Ree. Her blog has so many recipes, fashion tips, homeschooling ideas and many other awesome things.

This enchilada recipe is to die for, just sayin'

Another one of my favorite bloggers is sweet Meredith Tichenor from Sweet T Family blog.
She is actually the reason why I started blogging. She is the sweetest person ever. I have actually met her in person and I have a feeling we will be good friends. I am actually meeting her on Tuesday to drop off some Scentsy. She is so crafty and is so very fashionable. She is the mother of two of the cutest boys ever.
I have so many other blogger friends and favorite blogs that I could go on and on about them all. I am planning to make this a monthly post. A chance for you my sweet readers to meet other bloggers out there. The friendships I have made over my new found blog addiction is so worth me bragging about!!!!

I am over the top excited about our road trip coming up this June...
We are planning a road trip to sweet sunny California. We are actually going to visit Uncle Mike. Since we will be only 20miles away from Mickey we are sooo going to visit Disneyland for the first time. Don't get me wrong we have been to Disney World let's just say a few times HA!!!Four to be exact....
Well sweet friends this is a mighty long post but this week has been a bit on the STRESSFUL side.
We are just happy to say we have prayed about something and our prayers were answered. I will reveal our BLESSING soon we just want to wait and see how it all works out.
Have a great week sweet friends!!!!

Hope your week has been blessed and fun like ours. I started my morning with a parent auxillary meeting for our daughter's school.  I also attended a Mom's In Touch prayer meeting that I did not even know was meeting. I strongly believe God puts you in places for a reason. It ended up being an awesome time of worship and  fellowship!!!!

Sooo I had promised an easy Chili recipe my friends and here it is...
It was given to me by my sweet friend Dawn M. (nurse I work with).

Brown 1 lb. of hamburger meat, 1/2 to 1 large onion, and 1/2 green pepper, dash of salt and pepper.
1 large can of Ranch Style beans
2-3 Tablespoons of chili powder

I found a salon in Missouri City that has it for $25 instead of $50-$75 like other places. It is Spectrum Nail Salon on Hwy 6.  Got mine today!!!

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend. Look at this relaxing little heaven on earth place in Texas!!!We so have to plan our little getaway soon!!!

Saturday~~that's how we roll....

Sorry about the quality of this picture, my camera has been acting up... time for a new one???
Well this is Lucy our golden girl she is soooo very sweet. I gave her a bath and she had to pose for a quick picture.

Most Saturdays Albert heads out early and does his coffee run and stops at Home Depot I'm sure. He stayed with Dave today and the girls and I did a girl morning out.
The girls have been really good about picking up all their toys and keeping their room clean so they got their nails done.

Sweet Mya

Pink for Ms. Emmy and purple for Ms. Mya

We made a quick stop at Claire's and picked up this fairy skirt for one dollar...

We are sooo excited tonight we get to see our friends the Nail Family. They are our sweet friends who have a sweet girl named Lea who turned five in December (like Emmy) and they are having her birthday party today. Can't wait to see sweet Arlis either. I got this shirt made for Ms. Lea Rose at a cute shop in Missouri City. I will have to place an order for my girls too, they are way to cute.

They make Valentine shirts for both boys and girls...Off to make lunch and get ready for our party.
Have a blessed weekend loves!!!!

I heard these babies will make you run and get back into shape..for those of you that don't know me I was a runner back in the day. I used to run five to six miles a day without a problem, I was also a size 2 but then I got married, had babes and you know the rest!!!

These sweet things would look lovely with khaki pants or shorts don't ya think???

Heard this is the facial cream to use for ladies over thirty, like me HA!!!!

Candle of Month~~Scent of Month

Candle of Month~~~Margot
Got this awesome idea from my sweet friend Meredith from Sweet T Family blog about selecting a candle to burn each month. Well..... since I am a wickless candle kind of girl I have a hard time picking one scent. My favorite scent of all time has to be Welcome Home, I burn it all year long. I do switch every now and then for fun. When I mean switch I have an assortment of wax.... closet full HA!!!There are 80 different scents we have so it really depends on my mood which one I burn. Clean Breeze is awesome for the restroom just sayin'...
Anyway lovelies this month My Wish is what will burn in the Castro Casa...
Have a good Wednesday
XOXO
