Easter and our life in boxes.....

Sooo life could not get any sweeter than this... a sweet friend from church invited us over for an Easter celebration on Saturday. This is not your typical celebration this is an amusement park to say the least. Mrs. Carlisle goes all out with inflatables, concession stands, tons of activities and even a sweet bunny made a visit. I was alone with the babes since Albert had to get last minute things done at the old house. We had a blast and met up with sweet Meredith and Dana and their sweet families. What a blessing to get an invitation like this!!!

I forgot to mention the train... yes a train was there~~~ AWESOME.

Sweet David

Emmy with her kind of lunch....

My sweet friend Brandi came by on Saturday to pick up a shed and brought the most amazing bows for my sweet girls. Believe me they had them on about.... 2 minutes after I opened the bag.
As for the house we're beyond blessed and excited. Thank you all for your sweet calls and encouraging words. They mean soooo much to us.
XOXO

TA DA........

Well the day arrived....Closing day!!!!

I attended my awesome Apples class today. I learned sooo much. One of my favs (Nancy P.) from church was the guest speaker. She is such a sweet lady. She is amazing and has six precious children. She gave us all sorts of tips and ideas that will really help us. Another sweet surprise was my sweet friend Meredith bringing me the cutest Longhorn cookie cutter and awesome MOM agenda.

ORANGE~~~my fav!!!!
Then we raced to the title company to close on our new house and to get the famous keys. Oh my goodness I never thought a closing could be so smooth.....so awesome.
The highlight of the day was having most of my family join us for a quick prayer for our home. So sweet how they took time out of their busy evening to come join us!!!!
What a BLESSED DAY!!!
XOXO

WE ARE OVERWHELMED WITH TEXTS, FB MESSAGES, PHONE CALLS, AND GIFTS FROM SOOO MANY FRIENDS....

I lived to blog about it!!!!

Welcome HoMe sweet Albert. Boy have I missed this man. He has been gone for one whole week. I did great with the babes. They were actually really good for me and for my parents while I worked Wednesday and Thursday. Since we are in the middle of the house thing, this trip was extra stressful. Well, it all worked out and now I'm waiting for him to walk in the door in a few minutes to an awesome home cooked meal. I love to cook now and my babes love to help me.
This will be a very busy week. Albert has a Remicaid tx tomorrow followed by a house tour of our new house AND then taxes......Tuesday we are touring Emmy's new school. We are sooo excited and soo happy about this whole transition. We are in God's hands and feels so good to let go of all anxious thoughts and fears. I must say once this week is over (actually Monday and Tuesday) it should be all better. The move should be FUN!!!!
Kudos to all single mamas and military mamas and dads out there. I seriously don't know how you do it.
Hope every one has an awesome week and please send out a little prayer for the Crazy C's we need all the prayers we can get!!!!
If you're wondering why I haven't posted pics lately~my camera cable thing is in a box.
Sorry, pictures are coming I promise.

The Club and some roosters

I found this recipe of an awesome club sandwich on Pioneer Woman's Blog!!!I sooo have to try this. It  has Pesto mayo HELLLLOOO!!! Awesome!!!

Recipe: Killer Club Sandwich

 |   |   |

Ingredients

  • 12 slices Sandwich Bread
  • 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon Prepared Basil Pesto
  • 1 Tablespoon Prepared Sundried Tomato Pesto (or Just A Couple Of Pureed Sundried Tomatoes)
  • 8 slices Bacon, Cut In Half
  • ½ pounds Shaved Ham
  • ½ pounds Shaved Turkey
  • 4 whole Avocados, Peeled And Sliced
  • 4 slices Cheese (swiss, Mozzarella, Etc.)
  • Romaine Or Green Leaf Lettuce

Preparation Instructions

Toast bread in toaster until light golden brown. Set aside.
Fry bacon until just barely crisp, then drain on a paper towel. Set aside.
Mix together 2 tablespoons mayonnaise with prepared basil pesto; in a separate bowl, mix additional 2 tablespoons mayonnaise with sundried tomato pesto.
To Make One Sandwich:
Spread two pieces of bread with basil pesto. On one piece of bread, lay ham on top of pesto mayo, then top with cheese and lettuce. On other piece of bread, lay the slices of 1/2 avocado on top of the pesto mayo. Top avocado with bacon. Lift the second slice of bread (the one with avocado and bacon) and place it, ingredient side down, on top of the first piece of bread.
For the second layer: On the top of the top piece of bread, spread the sundried tomato mayonnaise. Spread one side of the third piece of bread with sundried tomato mayonnaise. Place ham, cheese, and lettuce on top. Place other half of the avocado slices on the other piece of bread. Top with bacon slices. Place this piece of bread, ingredient side down, on top of the first piece of bread.
Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich in half (on the diagonal) then again in fourths.
Serve with chips!
Sooo some anxiety and fear has set in for the whole moving thing. It will happen on April 21st. We are sooo excited but nervous all at once. I found these rooster frames on Williams-Sonoma's website and they caught my eye. What do you think are roosters still in or not????My kitchen will not be blue but it will be more rustic orange and lots of white!!!!Let me know if I should go with roosters or not~~Thanks
XOXO

HOPE to the rescue

Sooo I ran out of makeup recently... I have been so busy to be able to run to Sephora or to Macy's to buy my foundation. What is a girl to do???Well this is my friend Hope (she works with me). She is sooo sweet and so pretty ( and very young). I always ask her what type of foundation she wears. Most of the time she says NOTHING today. Don't you hate that, to be young again AWWW!!
Well yesterday she told  me she has been wearing Maybelline Mouse foundation. I quickly ran to Target after work and bought it. It is cheaper than my other ones and oh my goodness it works!!!!

This is it... so if you want to save a little mula you should try this one!!!!
BTW Hope is 10 yrs younger than me... A girl can dream!!!!
