My Christmas Baby Emmy....

So today sweet Emmy turned 6 years old. Sorry no pictures:( We had a great day. We started out by going to the library and checking out some books. Then made Emmy's favorite tuna sandwiches ;) Once Albert got home we had a fab dinner at Olive Garden and they sang happy birthday to our sweet girl. They brought out a great cake then she opened gifts at home. What a great day to celebrate our sweet girl!!!!! Emmy we love your crazy laugh, your voice, your silly personality and everything else about you!

Christmas and Texans.....

On Friday I was able to attend Mya and Emmy's Christmas parties. It was sooo much fun!

So we got some Texans shirts for the babes for Christmas but daddy pulled them out today (he can't help himself).

We made a mad rush trip to Target today for stockings. I guess I lost some during the move. We have one for our dog Lucy and two extra ones. My mom and dad of course!!!I can't wait to fill theirs with lottery tickets and denture cream HA!!I love those guys!!

Sweet friends I have not blogged in forever ~~I have been sooo busy like I'm sure you guys are too. This is a very vain post (sorry). I just had to post some of my favorite things. This Deborah Lippmann polish (glamorous life) will arrive today.

My sweet hubs got me some Pandora charms for our anniversary with the babes birth stones. So sweet of him.

 

My sweet friend Jess told me about this amazing foundation that she loves. It is I must say totally FAB!!

One of our sweet residents at work loves makeup and told me about these Laura Mercier baked eye shadows ( I love them so)!!!

In the fall I always buy Brighton's Laugh perfume. It is a perfect blend of awesomeness!!

Last but not least my hubs is over the moon for the TEXANS going to the playoffs. YAY H-Town!!!

Best Sugar Cookie recipe EVER!!!

Ok so you probably were wondering where I have been for a week!my hubs was in Mexico on a business trip. He arrived yesterday and I am soooo happy he's back. My parents were so helpful so were my neighbors Susan and Karla. Susan is my walking(vent about kids) partner. Karla sent homemade chili for dinner last night. My sweet friends Dawn and Edelweiss were always on call for my impending breakdown! All went well the babes were great! Only one major ear pain episode and some tummy issues. Sooo I'm ready for the season and so glad daddy is in the house!!!

Dawn gave me this recipe for sugar cookies last week. My friend Laura came over to watch movies and bake cookies. They were easy and amazing!!!

2 cups white sugar

2 sticks of butter

2 eggs

1 cup of oil

Beat all together

5 cups of flour

2tsp baking soda

2tsp cream of tartar ( can u believe I have that)

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

mix together then combine all

10-12 min

temp 375

Happy 12th Anniversary~~~and Uncle Mike visits Houston!!!

So twelve years today Albert and I got married in the old FCCC building. Nino Elliot married us! What a great day! As I woke up from my 2 hr nap today I told Albert if someone had told me then this was going to be our life I would have not believed them!!   We are beyond blessed. Albert, you are my best friend, my partner in crime, the best hubby and the best daddy I could ever had imagined.  Together for 20 years! Thanks babe!!!

These sweet babes are the blessings God gave us!!WOW!

Well last night we had my hubby's family over. It was a night full of great food, great people and lots of laughs. This morning the sweet babes said they wanted to meet Uncle Mike and my inlaws at Cracker Barrel for breakfast at 7:30 say what??? And so indeed we got up and went. Soooo fun!!!Aunt Yolanda was there too and we had a great time.

Nutcraker Market 2011

So this post is totally picture free. We had a great weekend even if I did work three twelve hour shifts. Sunday ended up being so fun. I got to leave work early picked up my parents and had the best dinner at Pappasito's. We even had a surprise dessert by someone in the restaurant. We are almost certain it was our neighbors K&K since we had just seen them there. HA! How nice of who ever did it!!I also had tons of orders, booked a party for December and might have a new frontline consultant. Can we say AWESOME weekend!!
So my neighbor and I have kept our word and we are walking!!It is sooo nice to get out and just enjoy the outdoors while getting some exercise.
We are getting excited about the holidays and will ring in the season this Friday at THE NUTCRAKER MARKET!
The best part is that my neighbor is going with me YAY!!

GUESS WHAT YA'LL????My neighbor is working out with me now.  Depending on our schedule we will go about 3-4 times a week. I have been meaning to do this forever so I'm glad I found a buddy to do it with.

Kid's day by day bible....

In our LBS class we discussed different activities to do with our children at home. This Day by Day Kid's Bible is wonderful. You can get it on Amazon.com. We started yesterday and it was sooo fun. The best part was that to my surprise Albert really enjoyed reading to the kids. It takes about 7 minutes a day. It is for older kids but the little ones will enjoy it too!!

Halloween 2011!!!

Our Halloween was so much fun this year!! We set up tables at our neighbors front yard and Albert grilled burgers and hot dogs. We took our sweet babes out trick or treating ~~~there were 9+ kiddos with us. We went around the neighborhood then had dinner together. What a fun night!!

In our Ladies Bible Class they recommended a Daily Children's Bible. It is sooo easy to read and is a great way to spend quality time with your babes. It is for all ages and  they will love it.  I will posting pictures of it tomorrow and I will let you know where to buy it!!!
